Who We Are:
A. Nora Long, Artistic Director:
Nora is producing associate at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, and a regular contributor to Suffolk University’s award-winning alumni magazine. She is a founding member of the Small Theatre Alliance of Boston and occasionally teaches college and adult education classes in theatre. She has worked with several theatre companies in Boston as a writer, director, dramaturg and translator including the American Repertory Theatre, Mill 6, Whistler in the Dark and Another Country Productions. She received her MFA in Dramaturgy from the American Repertory Theatre/ Moscow Art Theatre School Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University and her BA from Sarah Lawrence College in theatre and Italian. A Boston native, she currently lives downtown.
Dawn M. Simmons, Artistic Director:
Dawn is a director and writer living in MA. Locally Dawn has directed or assistant directed for: The Theatre Offensive, Holland Productions, FeverFest(Small Theatre Alliance of Boston), The Boston Theatre Marathon, Mill 6, Actors Refuge Repertory Theatre, Fort Point Theatre Channel, Actors' Shakespeare Project, Another Country Productions, Company One, Boston Theatre Works, and As Yet To Be Theatre. In New York State, she spent 3 years with Irish Classical Theatre Company as their Resident Assistant Director. Simmons studied playwrighting at Boston University and earned her BA from The University at Buffalo. Dawn is the Director of Programs for StageSource and a founding member of The Small Theatre Alliance of Boston.
New Exhibition Room is a member of the Boston Center for the Arts Emerging Theatre Company Program.
